Today I have the lovely Mary Lindsey on my blog as part of the Shattered Souls blog tour from The Teen Book Scene.
Pirates of the Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom variety! Yeah.
Those.
Coffee or Tea?
Coffee. Can’t live without it, though I do love a good cup of
Earl Grey.
The Beach or The Arctic?
I don’t do cold well at all, which is why I live in coastal
Texas. Definitely the beach.
Paper or Plastic?
Both recycle, so I’m good either way. I keep very little
paper around the house because I have an allergy to degrading paper. Really.
That means I’m allergic to books. Fortunately, it takes years for paper to
break down enough to create the dust I’m allergic to, so I can have real books,
I just can’t keep them for long. My antique books are behind glass. If I handle
them, I get terrible headaches and even nosebleeds. Bummer, huh? My Kindle is a
blessing. I can have a huge library that doesn’t make me sick!
Pandas or Grizzly Bears?
I love Grizzly Bears’ noses and coats, but I’m going to have
to go with Panda--non-man-eating cute wins every time with me.
Caffeine or Sugar?
Caffeine. Though it would be hard, I could give up sugar.
Caffeine? No way!
Sneakers or Flip-Flops?
Sneakers--but sort of a hybrid. I like slip-on sneakers.
Oranges or Apples?
To drink, orange. To eat, apples. Honey Crisp apples are my
favorite. I wish they were available year-round.
Cause or Effect?
Cause. I’d much rather be on that end of any equation. I’m a
proactive person.
Sun or Moon?
Sunshine. No doubt about it.
Heads or Tales?
Depends on what kinds of heads or tails we’re talking about.
When it’s a coin flip, I always call “tails.” With other things, I generally
avoid the end with the tail. :)
Thank you so much for having me on your blog today, Amanda.
Your this or that questions were fun!

About Shattered Souls
A thrilling debut
story of death, love, destiny and danger
Lenzi hears voices and has visions
- gravestones, floods, a boy with steel gray eyes. Her boyfriend, Zak, can't
help, and everything keeps getting louder and more intense. Then Lenzi meets
Alden, the boy from her dreams, who reveals that she's a reincarnated Speaker -
someone who can talk to and help lost souls - and that he has been her
Protector for centuries.
Now Lenzi must choose between her
life with Zak and the life she is destined to lead with Alden. But time is
running out: a malevolent spirit is out to destroy Lenzi, and he will kill her
if she doesn't make a decision soon.
